I recently installed vinyl planks in my home (I now live in Australia where it's quite popular, not sure about Canada) and it's absolutely awesome. So easy to install too, I did it myself in a few hours. Can't recommend it enough.

I wasn't doubting you.. I just don't see how it can reasonably be enforced. Laws can be made, but they could be challenged. If a condo has turned the heat off, what is a landlord supposed to do? I can't imagine any court upholding this by-law if that were the case.

How can they enforce that when the condo controls that? My building is switching to AC on Wednesday (with the boiler being switched off on Monday). I can't do anything about it if I wanted to.
