So some people are now claiming that during PM rush hour today, the shuttle buses along Finch were crammed. It seems quite a few people are not keen to ride the LRT. Can anyone confirm this?

I suspect that if there was ever a collision between a train and car, the TTC would blame MX for forcing them to drive at higher speeds.

I'm only finding out about this now. Something tells me a lot of posters on this thread are unaware of this as well. Metrolinx wouldn't have built this in if they didn't think underground trains catching up to surface levels trains was going to be an issue.

How do you know it's going to hit the same red lights as the train before it? I guess what I want to know is will the surface portion of the line impact speeds in the underground portion of the line? Particularly heading eastbound? I mean, they can't allow the underground portion to travel too...

Why did you completely gloss over the second part of my post? Will they time every train to hit the same red light at the exact same time? We probably won't see bunching, but I suspect we'll see trains extending dwell times at stations in order to maintain spacing. So I suspect the red lights...

There's no doubt that the underground trains will be slowed down by at-grade trains. Otherwise we'll see bunching up of eastbound trains around the tunnel portal.
