    Neutra: Anyone Interested?

Hi All: It has been sometime since I have been in this forum. Wondering if anyone is interested in buying my unit once I close. I recently got married and am expecting a baby in November. Hence, it does not make sense for me to be in a condo. I am planning to remain in my house. My unit...

I received occupancy letter from Great Gulf yesterday; occupancy confirmed for July 30, 2010...my unit is on the 6th floor.

Thank-you for the clarification! I am glad it is one "structure".:)

I think however, that is the only part that is connected...kind of like a bridge...I wonder how much room will be between the two structures. I personally think the higher podium really takes away from the actual high rise structure.

X2 Condos (Great Gulf Homes/Lifetime Developments) - Real Estate -

I looked at the features and I have to say for those of us who bought into X1, it is not fair. X2 gets upgrades as standard (i.e. stainless steel package, integrated hood fan, corian sink in 2nd bath). X1 purchasers had to fork out $$ for those same upgrades...

One structure or two separate structures? I think there are two separate structures as well...based on looking at the floorplans, the podium has units facing west (which would directly face the east side of the high rise structure). Any thoughts anyone?

X2 Condos (Great Gulf Homes/Lifetime Developments) - Real Estate -

Thanks dt_toronto_geek!! I am trying to look at the positives. Once X2 is completed (probably 5 yrs), I won't have to see that ugly building south of the Pizza Pizza building. Five years seems like a long time; who knows I may even move from X by then, maybe to X2 where the sw view will be...

X2 Condos (Great Gulf Homes/Lifetime Developments) - Real Estate -

Thanks cdr108...I am thinking the distance between the two X's is probably the same as a four lane road. I don't know if that is too close for comfort. Do you have any idea as to the distance between the X and Couture?

X2 Condos (Great Gulf Homes/Lifetime Developments) - Real Estate -

Does anyone know the distance between the two X's in comparison to the distance between X and Couture. I am curious to know as I did not purchase on the noth side of the building thinking that Couture will be right next to it. I bought on the lower level of the south side of X, thinking that I...

Hi All: Does anyone have a sense as to whether or not GGH will keep the March 2010occupancy date? The construction is really coming along... XBOYZ, do u have a sense since you spoke to the construction office? Where is the construction office anyway?

It really depends on which consultant you had. I had the same lady who was awkward and uninformed and I felt rushed. In retrospect, I wish I asked for another consultant as my appointment was not an enjoyable or fulfilling one.

    Condo Lawyers

This is my first condo purchase. I bought new homes before and had just a regular real estate lawyer. Is it important to have a real estate lawyer that specializes in condos? If not, I may just use the same lawyer I used before.

Re: the engineered flooring, again I guess my lady was totally misinformed bc she told me the standard was laminate. I am glad it is engineered hardwood. I chose the greyish color.

I am glad to hear that. I wish I had the same experience. In my case, I was told that there are not many options to choose from and as soon as I chose something, the lady was rushing to show me the next thing. I even took a friend with me to ensure that things slow down and even my friend felt...

    Confused about HST

Just wondering...often builders will absorb the 5 % in the price....and in such cases...the rebates usually go back to the builder. How do we know if the builder absorbed the tax percentage in the price?
