    Hamilton Beach Boulevard Townhouses | 12.38m | 3s | Sentry Group | CZA

Unfortunately several historic homes and an antique store were demolished over the last 20 years to assemble the land for this development. You can see some of it on google streetview, I remember the antique place was demo'd in 2008.

    A Sunny Sunday Morning

Awesome. I've been to the District a couple of times, I love it. I'm glad Toronto decided to keep a small part of their industrial heritage intact. Hamilton could have learned a lot from it. International Harvester and the old Studebaker/Otis elevator warehouses/factories would have made an...

    Yonge and Eligible

It is indeed a very unique retail sector. It doesn't have the same trendy theme to it as Queen West and it's not as high class as downtown. Yonge and Eligible

Aye, the Elegant Garage Sale was a favorite of mine as a wee lad. Our house is still adorned with a couple of things from there. I should add that I found it funny when I went back to Mt. Pleasant about a year ago and noticed Shoppers Drug Mart had moved across the street and Rexall had taken...

    Yonge and Eligible

My first "real" post on Urban Toronto here. I live in Hamilton but was born and raised in the neighborhood that I'll be showing in this thread. My family left the area in 1998, moving to Hamilton in 2001 after a stint of different residences across Toronto including High Park (I loved it there)...

    Mount Pleasant cemetery walk

Definitely a beautiful cemetery. I was there 2 weeks ago and it was full of people along the trails. Many of my relatives are buried there as well.

Mustapha's Then and Now: North Yonge

This is a great thread. Please keep the pictures coming. I had no idea Yonge transformed so much, even since the 1920's.
