    Toronto Queens Quay & Water's Edge Revitalization | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

One of my friends had a head on collision with another cyclist on this trail and is in bad shape. This place is a death trap. Cyclist and pedestrians will act a certain way. It is up to urban designers to create an environment that is efficient and safe. This whole revitalization was basically...

    Toronto Community Consultation Calendar?

Hi guys, Is there a calendar for community consultations anywhere? All I could find is Toronto's antique development map that is awful to use. Thanks

chow would have been a victory for nimbys. but for the love of god we have to make a dedicated street car line heading east west. its so simple yet so difficult in this city?!

2014 Municipal Election: Toronto Mayoral Race

Chow is a train wreck. Does she really think she can win on the sympathy vote? Karen Stintz has impressed me for the simple fact she actually has a personality and is not afraid to fire back at everyone.

living in townhouse at Lawrence/Dufferin (Allen & 401 area) vs downtown condo

Liberty Village is about as fake as it comes If I had the cash I would be buying one of these lovely townhomes being built along dundas or in west queen west. Where you actually feel part of the city and not some giant condo manufactured lifestyle area

    The Condo Game [CBC Documentary]

I agree there is A LOT of uncertainty moving forward but here are some things to remember. Culture is changing rapidly. Obviously it is much more expensive to live these days, jobs are harder to come by, and you need to be more educated. This has lead younger people to not get married and...

    Toronto Ryerson Student Learning Centre | 50.59m | 8s | Ryerson University | Zeidler

Arn't they developing that site at younge and gould for retail? Would be a pretty good place for a Uniqlo flagship store if you ask me. The whole AMC and parking lot is a terrible waste of space though.

New Development Fee Increases for Toronto

What I do not understand is why development charges are the same in areas like Jane n Finch or other under developed areas of the city than in downtown. Shouldn't the city be using incentives to build up these neighborhoods, much like other towns have done with their downtown's

Roads: Keep the Gardiner, fix it, or get rid of it? (2005-2014)

8 Lanes laid out with a street hierarchy would look fine if done right.... Take a look at what is done n Barcelona. 5 lanes in the middle for faster traffic, 2 of these could easily be rapid transit bus lanes. Bike lanes and even patios can be built with greets separating the side street...

Dundas Square Gardens (Easton's Group) - Real Estate -

Anyone thinking this area wont clean up is delusional. And even if it doesn't it is still a desirable place to live. Toronto's infrastructure is such a joke that any development between Dufferin to the Don river and up to bloor is basically is a safe bet if it is affordable like this one. Not...
