It's so small and relatively low-res. Agree. Would be great if it was at least double that.

Rode through the area this afternoon. It is still really high. Basically just barely spilling over the top into the surrounding area a little bit. I gotta think some of that is that despite the southern plug being partially removed it's not able to drain into Lake Ontario properly the way it...

Love how this rendering from just a year ago shows double orange and double lemon bridges. 😆

Yikes that is really high. I wonder where it goes when it overflows? I didn't think the flood zones would be needed after some normal spring rains. What's weird is that looks higher than the Keating Channel behind it which is lake height. But this should be lake height too since it's now...

Good point. It's prettier now because it's lake water but it's just going to be a brown river once they open up the north plug. Will look as filthy as Keating Channel. Shame.

Wow that North Plug digging is moving along really quickly. When do they hope to have that gone by? I'm hoping just a month or two more, not like Fall 2024.

Now I'm a little curious. The fix for that, I wonder how much it cost? And how long was it fixed before the whole things was just totally ripped out. Not that it wasn't worth it, just wondering.

This is kinda cool. You can see where the gear for the bridge would have sat to go up and down.

First pictures of Lake Ontario and the 'river' mingling freely together. What is it technically called now? A cove? An inlet?

The Lake Ontario end river plug under the lemon bridge is FULLY BROKEN THROUGH!! Like water flowing clearly. It's spectacular! Drone shots to follow later this afternoon!
