Seems awfully fast (and those seem awfully small) to be the main bridge footing/caissons. Are those maybe the footings for the tower cranes that will build the bridge?

I know this whole forum is very pro development and what's best for the good of the whole, but my God, telling someone you're taking their home and that they're going to have find somewhere else to live is about the most extreme thing the state can do other than drafting them for military...

The other question is how much are those residents going to feel the constant rumble of subways running for the rest of their lives if they stay there?

Will it ever get repainted? How long will that take? One lane in both directions for the next ten years while they slowly repaint it? That bridge is such a permanent repair job.

Is Metrolinx handling this bridge repair?

@TwinHuey love the lighting you got on the canoe bridge shot. I've tried to capture that a few times but never got the light right. Such a fun little piece of hidden public art.

Juuuuust a little outside Toronto but finally shot something I've wanted to try for a while. Flying over the crazy Stelco / Dofasco industrial complex in Hamilton. Robocop vibes for sure.

Did a little scout of it just now to see. I have no idea what I'm looking at progress-wise, but I don't think it's a road yet. ;) And then, while I was in the area, I decided to have one more little sunset peak inside everyone's favourite smokestack.
