I was referring to buildings competing for tenants, meaning once CIBC Square II is done and out of the way, the next big one, meaning this building, will be the "main focus."

I suspect once CIBC Square II is fully done, this one will really kick into high gear.

Manulife consolidating from around the city into a new tower and then having their beautiful building on Bloor converted into an upscale hotel, like a Woldorf Astoria or a Plaza Hotel type, would be a great fit not only for that building but for "Mink Mile" Bloor St., which has very nice hotels...

I totally agree with other commenters on here. The splash of colour gives something different in a good way to the sea of the same old blushish grey buildings. I wanna see Toronto move away from that it's really depressing after a while.

It's fun, however, in reality I still hope for one of the following: a BMO, Bell, National Bank Financial, Manulife, or Desjardins tenancy and logo, whether any of these firms become the major tenant or get there signange put up on the Hub is a whole other thing. But I can keep dreaming and wishing.

wow totally disagree with that narrative, however i will say some buildings (depending on design) do look good without any logo, the old WTC in NY comes to mind.

I assume, like most stadiums and venues, naming rights will come up. personally i would like to see a change from the same companies, i.e., BMO, TD, Rogers, Bell, names maybe something different, like the Telus Center or Loblaws Place, idk something different.
