Elite Development trucks on site today. 3 of them - various activity the past few weeks people in an out. Certainly looks like this is in the works. Does anyone know about the status of building / demo permits?

The forming crew was there last week organizing it all. Latest I heard was this week - nothing yet.. we'll see. Things change by the day it seems but as far as I know its still a go.

The house that stood beside the church was demolished this week. Not sure what's going on inside the church but Renokrew is the contractor and have been on site for a few months now.

Interesting for sure. There is a lot of construction activity all around the viscinity of this site. I wonder if that will spur them on or deter them from starting. A 2030 occupancy would probably mean 2027 start

Not currently no. They demo'd the old house and have un assembled the roof top equipment on Gary Proctor but no real activity there the past week. I was told that was going to go before Tower 3 but maybe there was a change of plans?

Keep an eye out for activity on tower 3. I didn't think it was in the cards but word around site is that forming will continue in the next few weeks. Material and equipment for forming were dropped off this week as well.

Nearly half of it is vacant right now anyways. Perhaps it's in their best interest to acquire it as well

Demolition was essentially completed today. Large crew present to take down what was left of the existing building.

Ive seen a few guys here over the weekend doing things in one of the buildings both Saturday and Sunday. Hopefully we see some activity here this year - huge corner property just sitting abandoned...

I saw a few guys there last week reinforcing and re painting the billboards on site with the development advertised. We will see if they hit their targets

The excessive marketing (desperate convincing really) that Latch does to sell this area as some amazing pocket of suburbia is pretty funny. I don't think they're fooling anyone

There has been some activity here the past week or so. Cherry picker machine on site putting up plywood on mostly all the windows and also pruning some trees on the property. Perhaps just a requirement by the city and/or the fire department but interesting nonetheless.

Beefy podium! Looking forward to this continuing to climb. It will be nice when eyes can be directed to this tower as opposed to the shirtless man at the base of the light post who is seemingly always there lol
