    Toronto Long Branch Tower | 143.4m | 43s | Toronto Standard | Studio JCI

It will get a lot of opposition from the local residents' association who have kicked up a fight for *much* smaller things...

    2024 United States presidential election

Did Harris actually pander to campus liberals? Save for abortion, which has a majority of voters' support, and trans rights, she ran a very safe, centrist campaign. Trump held the standard Democratic position on Gaza, offered no big budget universal programs, and tried to out-Trump Trump on the...

Sort of like a mini-Aura. Looks cool from afar but mediocre up-close.

    2024 United States presidential election

Based purely on vibes (ok, and some early exit polls), I think it'll be a slim Harris victory.

    Mayor Olivia Chow's Toronto

Yes, I expect Chernos Lin to be on Team Chow on most issues. Given the high amount of development in her ward, and its many influential residents associations, I’d be surprised if she gains many fans from Team UrbanToronto. 😆

    Toronto McCleary District | ?m | ?s | CreateTO | DTAH

Great analysis @AlexBozikovic and @Northern Light. The large building footprints are my biggest worry. While I'm generally happy with the Canary District, the large and wide massing at times make the buildings and street feel sterile and institutional. A break up of the size and shape of...

    Mayor Olivia Chow's Toronto

With the byelection this Monday, I give Furey the slight advantage over Chernos Lin, based purely on vibes. As is the case with most council races, it appears to be a proxy battle between party machines, with the PC/CPC brass backing Furey, and local Liberals behind Chernos Lin. I’m definitely...

    Hamilton Columbia Student Residence | 85.85m | 25s | Effort Group | KNYMH

Hamilton really seems subject to some of the ugliest new builds in the GHTA, especially any projects by Vrancor. Thankfully the King William looks nice.

    Toronto Lower Don Lands Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

It won't stop it from being nicknamed "Lower Riverside" or "East Distillery" by the time the MLS listings pop up. Is there a plan to rename the neighbouring McCleary District?

    Toronto 690 Coxwell Avenue | ?m | 6s | Woodgreen | LGA Architectural

It's the only real green space on The Danforth between the Alexander the Great Parkette and East Lynn Park, which is pretty remarkable. I agree that the some sort of programming, led by the BIA, local arts org, etc., would add some life to the parkette.

    Toronto 690 Coxwell Avenue | ?m | 6s | Woodgreen | LGA Architectural

The parkette could use a revamp. It's lacking... something. Anything, really.
