    Toronto Union Station Revitalization | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto | NORR

Did they put new exterior lighting fixtures outside the northwest entrance on front street? I travelled past and noticed something looked different. Perhaps this was it...

    Erin Mills Expansion & Cineplex Junxion | 14.75m | 1s | OPB | MMC Architecture

Interesting. So the part they knocked down will be... expansion of the parking lot? Did the mall end up shrinking? Weird to see that the long hallway connecting to the sphere is just going to be blank on one half. Wouldn't they want to build some units for future retail? Unless in the grand...

    Toronto Oak House Student Residence | 75.55m | 23s | U of T | Diamond Schmitt

U of T has an odd fascination with Ginkgo trees. They have a couple around King's College Circle and University College. Can't say I like them; there's a time of year when their leaves / seeds smell like dog $h**. Not really liking the look of the latest building design either tbh.

Bramalea Road EA (City of Brampton)

Brampton has the worst gridlock I've ever experienced. It can take forever to get anywhere during peak hours. I don't think widening Bramalea Rd is the most ideal... better measures should have been taken in Brampton's infancy. One thing I wish they had would be service roads on either side of...

    Mississauga Brightwater | 35s | Kilmer + Dream + FRAM + Slokker + Peel Housing Corp | GPA + TF

Would love to be proven wrong. Manhattan and Port Credit are very different places though, so excuse my skepticism. I feel like if they provide a shuttle, it won't be well used, and they will have justification to cancel it after a period of time. The developer will just shrug their shoulders...

    Roads: GTA West Corridor—Highway 413

omg... between the massive amazon distribution centre, the massive canadian tire distribution centre, the trucking companies, and all of the other industrial... there is SO MUCH traffic going to/from Bolton now. Highway 50 is FULL of trucks on any given day. I don't feel safe driving amongst...

    Toronto U of T: Faculty of Medicine Building Expansion | ?m | ?s | U of T | MVRDV

Hearing that this is not so much a new building but rather a gutting and interior redesign while replacing the exteriors with glass

Doubt it. Anytime there's been development in the PC area, traffic levels seem to increase. This is something developers tout to try to ease concerns about traffic and to get the necessary approvals. In reality, it's not happening. People like the convenience of cars. Plus this location is...

    Toronto Eaton Centre (Ongoing Renewal) | ?m | ?s | Cadillac Fairview | Zeidler

Cool. I just remember this as an old Eatons / Sears exit (emergency exit?). I am assuming this is an entrance for office space on the former retail floors. Although... there's a bridge to the Ryerson building now? Is Ryerson using some of the space here?

    Toronto Eaton Centre (Ongoing Renewal) | ?m | ?s | Cadillac Fairview | Zeidler

I don't know. Sherway Gardens kept its 80s era identity for a LONG time and was always bumping. I loved that they were retaining the look; it made it an iconic destination. When Cadillac Fairview did their huge round of renos, they ruined the place (IMO). It's a generic mall now, no different...

    Toronto CIBC SQUARE | 241.39m | 50s | Hines | WilkinsonEyre

mmm not quite. I've taken the go bus many a time at the old station. A lot of the time I never had to enter the station building; I just waited outdoors at my bus platform, with wide open space and no one around me. When people did get close, it was indeed because they would be on the same bus...

    Toronto U of T: Landscape of Landmark Quality | ?m | 1s | U of T | MVVA

This once was a very wet area when Taddle Creek ran through it... there was also once the possiblity proposed of putting a pond in here and levelling the Queen's park bridge.... I think maybe this area is naturally a little bit wet? not sure

What are they building there, a sales center? A multi-storey sales center???

sigh. these pictures make me sad. Meanwhile, zero construction in the surrounding area to help mitigate the onslaught of increased traffic.

... these all look the same. Very bland.

hmmm More standing room yeah, but it's indoors. I think after 6 feet it's not a big deal if you're 10 feet vs 20 feet; what would be more important is the ventilation. Any doctors on here that can chime in? yeah but PANDEMIC. That wedges in more room for negotiation. We are seeing flexibility...

Kind of surprised they went and opened the bus terminal in the midst of the pandemic... wouldn't it be safer to be waiting in open air than inside of a building? Metrolinx could have delayed the switch I'm sure. Perhaps costly, but you know what, better safe than sorry

    Bloor-Yorkville Scene

RE: 157 Bloor for lease I remember hearing Club Monaco was leaving a few years ago, but I think something changed and they stayed. At the time I also heard rumours the U of T art gallery could move into the space. I think that was a missed opportunity; that intersection would have been an even...
