okay, so it's technically Riverside, but as a Corktowner, I'm excited about Real Jerk's new location! They're moving into the Edge Loft at DVP and Queen! Great space for them! http://www.citytv.com/toronto/citynews/news/local/article/207245--the-real-jerk-moving-to-new-queen-street-e-location

Although the dealerships are merely showrooms, they do stash their cars in the neighbourhood. So it sucks that now Nissan / Infinity will required more lot space in the area. Right now 100 cars are stashed underneath the DVP offramp at Eastern / Sumach.

I could see an "Urban Sobey's" or "Longos To Go" moving into the space. Especially considering the Sobey's is likely getting booted from the Front / Sherbourne location. Either way, they're feverishly dry walling and ducting the retail space in that Streetcar II building.

Awesome! I also noticed a new audio store moving in right next to Planet of Sound. The window decals are almost the same, which makes me wonder if it is owned by the same people?

Deli / cafe would have served me much better. And a new paint store was opened at Sackville and Queen last year. Fuck, a dry cleaner would have been more welcomed by me. Such potential in that little space, especially with its patio - but alas, it will become a car pad once again.

That King / Sackville joint is now up for rent. I wonder if the previous tenant will be required to keep all the interior fixtures in tact? They put up all sorts of re-claimed wood, distressed shelving and vintage chandeliers, not to mention the patio they put in. How could they get so close...
