    Toronto Mirvish Village (Honest Ed's Redevelopment) | 85.04m | 26s | Westbank | Henriquez Partners

Luxury and sub 800 square feet units do not compute. $2,400/month for 500 sq ft studio units is also gross. Luxury isn't just finishes. It's square footage, space, larger than typical rooms. Gourmet kitchen with an ample island and LARGE sized high end appliances. Based on photos, these do not...

    Toronto Mirvish Village (Honest Ed's Redevelopment) | 85.04m | 26s | Westbank | Henriquez Partners

The content creators of the YouTube channel Oh the Urbanity are right: people in Toronto suffer from "housing nihilism"

    Toronto Mirvish Village (Honest Ed's Redevelopment) | 85.04m | 26s | Westbank | Henriquez Partners

$3200 for less than 750 sq ft should be criminal. I know it's Toronto but it's ridiculous Almost $39,000/yr in rent!

    Hamilton King William Urban Rentals | 97.56m | 30s | LIUNA | Graziani + Corazza

That's a shame. I went to Capri about 7? (Can't recall if 2016-2017) years ago for the history/nostalgia factor and it was alright. The pizza was Nothing amazing but certainly not as bad as your experience. A quick glance of recent Google reviews shows a lot of people giving mediocre to...

Yeah it's easy to forget there's around 525? units in these 2 towers. Will be great to have all of those residents patronizing shops, restaurants, bars, Jackson Square, etc. Each 30 storey tower (since that seems to be the Hamilton standard) downtown should lead to noticeably more vibrancy

Chronamut, I know you have some complaints, but I think this development project turned out pretty darn well. (For Hamilton standards especially) 👍🏻👍🏻

Yeah that Toronto building actually looks nice. This St. Kitts one doesn't imho 😆

    Hamilton Pier 8 Redevelopment | 147m | 45s | Cityzen | Omar Gandhi

$400k for what, 450 sq ft?

    St. Catharines The Essentialist | 10m | 3s | Elevate Living | Invizij Architects

Looks even more value engineered from the already spartan renderings

    Hamilton King William Urban Rentals | 97.56m | 30s | LIUNA | Graziani + Corazza

After being accustomed to Vranich builds and other lower quality product of the past decade, I think this is a nice addition to downtown Hamilton.

    Welland 670 Niagara Street | 84.7m | 25s | Development Squad | McCallum Sather

If downtown Welland had three 25 storey towers and 2,000 units of residential maybe it would no longer look like episodes of 'The Walking Dead' could be filmed there This site is not the place for something as large. Seaway Mall site could also support this height. They have acres of parking...

    Hamilton King William Urban Rentals | 97.56m | 30s | LIUNA | Graziani + Corazza

How so? They might've changed the podium design a few times but the final rendering is pretty damn close to the final product

    Hamilton McMaster Graduate Student Residence | 97.9m | 30s | Knightstone | Diamond Schmitt

I meant each project adding hundreds of residents

That would be substantial shot in the arm for downtown with young people patronizing restaurants, bars, Jackson Square etc All of these Development projects with hundreds of units/residents will help downtown Hamilton rejuvenate.

    St. Catharines Carlisle Square | 66.88m | 18s | Nickel Developments | ACK

It makes its presence known driving on the 406, or Westchester Ave. Looks even taller from the 406 because St. Paul St. is built up higher than the highway which is built in the 12 mile creek valley

    Hamilton King William Urban Rentals | 97.56m | 30s | LIUNA | Graziani + Corazza

This project deserves an award for the final product being pretty damn close to the renderings, unlike many developments in North America.

    Welland 670 Niagara Street | 84.7m | 25s | Development Squad | McCallum Sather

I could see two 6-8 storey buildings fronting Niagara and a 4 storey that's closer to the residential street behind--Gadsby Ave, with 3 storey stacked townhouses... but no way in hell are 25 storey towers being built here! (Niagara's largest city, St. Catharines doesn't even have a 25 storey...

    Hamilton McMaster Graduate Student Residence | 97.9m | 30s | Knightstone | Diamond Schmitt

How many units would be in the proposed 2nd McMaster residence tower?
