The design of the park from the Sugar Wharf is different from the one that is seen in the renders of 1 Yonge. Does anyone know what the final design will look like? I'm kind of rooting for the one with the big fountain that is seen in the renders of 1 Yonge

^ I think otherwise, I like this podium. It's different from all the other projects we are getting which are mainly glass. I do agree though, they should have taken the podium style all the way up

does anyone else feel like the building is straight out of the 70's? like the CIBC building on Yonge and Bloor? Not a big fan of the design, hope it goes back to the drawing table.

what a cheap looking, personality lacking street level podium. Hope there is room for trees to be planted to cover it up

The sidewalk stretch of the building along Yonge is missing trees, or any kind of vegetation would be nice to balance the concrete and glass

They would fit nicely in this park. Imagine driving down on the Gardiner and all the sudden you get a glimpse of the top of the palm trees with the lake and boats in the background. It would be magical :D

I Wish palm trees grew in Canada :(

I imagine that by the end of this summer, all the outside dogs will have broken tails as they seem to be weak points. I hope I'm wrong.

I hope the podium gets redesigned to look more like the first one. it was truly a masterpiece.

I believe moving forward, the CIBC tower and perhaps the Bay tower as well needs some sort of re-cladding to fit in with the surrounding construction that is going up. I feel like its an eye sore for the Yonge/Bloor intersection
