by the phrase "first new and softer version of ritz" mean first new and cheaper version of ritz, and to me this building will never be a true ritz, just a cheap imitation.
I bet the ceo of the parent company regrets building a ritz here, and to let the residents of the condo tarnish the image and status symbol of ritz is untolerable! Way to go residents of ritz you made toronto proud, I bet ny, and chicago have a logo.
In a business sense this move of not having a logo is a bad move, most people will walk by and not notice this building much because it looks like an average condo, but if they had a logo, well that would of changed everything.
not to mention the terminate-r
at some angles the city core looks big but to me at most angles i only see 3-4 big ugly buildings similar to winnipegs big 3 uglys, but obviously winnipegs are smaller. My idea of a nice building is the empire, crysler, sears, etc, etc.
sounds like she likes suburbs and suburbs kill citys. It is far more better to build vertical than horizontal on the environment, so jane had it wrong. And when it comes to getting to know your neighbours better, condo communitys are now starting to cater to this.
the building is amazing and is the most exciting project in the city, but the city view in the beginning of the vid was a disappointment because it reminded me of a small city like winnipeg or hamilton. The latest pic is ugly but sleek and i hope the tt ends up like the old render. Cant wait...
