Since the provincial government is stepping out of their lane to push this, is it possible to get the federal government involved to block this?

The foot of Atlantic Ave. is now closed for Ontario Line tracks construction and the eventual Liberty New street. The only way to access the Westbound GO platform is by tunnel or bridge now.

They've paved most of the work area since my last update. They're also rebuilding the retaining wall for the ramp up to the elevated section being worked on. Lamp post installation should start soon and that'll be it for this phase.

It has not. The latest construction announcement was regarding piling for noise walls 🤣

This is facing East. The caption for the photo says "Future Ontario Line station entrance and plaza at southeast corner of Queen Street East and Strange Street (Riverside-Leslieville)." Strange street is on the West side of the tracks.
