Toronto St Lawrence Market North | 25.3m | 5s | City of Toronto | Rogers Stirk Harbour

Yes. They look great. Not crazy about the cloudy tinted grey front windows, an amber-like tint would look nicer, to match side striping. But I’ll take it.

I f’ing love these buildings. Some on here, gave the designs thumbs down in early stages, but these 2 structures are perfect for Toronto’s parochial boring street scene vibe. They’re cool.

    Toronto 55 Mercer | 155.5m | 47s | CentreCourt | Arcadis

Agree. No doubt Arcadis‘ influence going forward, will be a significant improvement over IBI‘s mediocrity.

    Toronto 55 Mercer | 155.5m | 47s | CentreCourt | Arcadis

IBI/Arcadis best designed building so far. That merger seems like a good thing because IBI was severely lacking in style, ambition & design. The works.

    Toronto Elm – Ledbury | 94.18m | 28s | Fitzrovia | Hariri Pontarini

Stick with brick Toronto. Red brick!! Even (dare I say) *grey brick is attractive. Unfortunate that it doesn’t go higher up. But nice.

    Toronto The Whitfield | 130m | 39s | Menkes | Giannone Petricone

I like an attractive, vibrant building in the city. Makes a huge difference. Thank you Menkes & arch. Giannone Petricone!! Can we please see more of this colour on TO’s streetscapes. Need more!!

    Toronto Rail Deck Development | 239.43m | 72s | LIUNA | Sweeny &Co

It’s amazing the downgrade from previous plans. Almost criminal. It’s not even the lack of of well designed modern parks & public spaces squeezed in to these renderings, but the buildings themselves look pedestrian & boring, shocking to see for such a big project. Didn’t notice one stand out...

    Toronto Concord Sky | 299m | 85s | Concord Adex | Kohn Pedersen Fox

This could quite honestly be a stand out building aesthetically, if it didn’t get lost in the grey-blue monotonous horizon. Begging for any vibrant, radiant, bright splash of colour in Toronto’s skyline by these unreliable building pros. They don’t f’ing notice? Lol. Self awareness is always...

    Toronto Rushden Station | 138.1m | 39s | Fitzrovia | bKL Architecture

    Yep.The whole area around there.

I just hope the green stays GREEN & the copper stays COPPER and DON’T turn into god awful GREY.… But the whole of Dawes Road, off of Danforth needs a massive revitalization. Looks like a deserted dump.

Toronto New Park at 229 Richmond West | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto | Gow Hastings

OneSky by PMA Landscape architects & SLA absolutely stands out compared to the rest. What a big city park looks like. Looks like the excellent NYC & London UK designed parks. Very busy but relaxing w warm charming sightlines. Looks like a few parks in one. Not so open~some privacy added. Lots of...

    Toronto Toronto House | 186.53m | 58s | Westbank | Hariri Pontarini

Maybe. But they could have done both. High quality materials & some colour -gold amber copper‘y hues. Change it up.

    Toronto Toronto House | 186.53m | 58s | Westbank | Hariri Pontarini

IDK, I know to never trust a rendering, or a pic with filters but that gold hue (most recent draft) turned into grey real fast & l’m not down w that. Grey in city is my biggest pet peeve. ESPECIALLY when following other architectural projects in cities like Chi, London, NYC, Boston, Montreal...

    Grrrrr. Aren’t they? Lol.

    Toronto Toronto House | 186.53m | 58s | Westbank | Hariri Pontarini

Oh, is rectangular blue-grey in Toronto considered prominent now? It’s so average for a new build.

    Toronto Toronto House | 186.53m | 58s | Westbank | Hariri Pontarini

Nothing worse for a city‘s skyline than having a new building look like it’s been there for 20 yrs. And not in a good way. Same old colour scheme. Generic & dull. Nothing special. Does not enhance or compliment heritage building. So disappointing, especially from Hariri Pontarini who usually do...

    Toronto The Whitfield | 130m | 39s | Menkes | Giannone Petricone

This is not “ugly“ at all. It has vibrant colour. Not abother boring rectangular grey blue structure-I’ll take it.The vertical stripes stand out. I like them. Shame it’s only 37 floors.

    Toronto Love Park | 3m | 1s | City of Toronto | CCxA

What a loss. Gutted. Hopefully he worked closely with other great landscape architects who can continue his inspiring excellence. The cities of Montreal & Toronto owe him so much.

    Toronto Sixty Five Broadway | 132.89m | 39s | Times Group | Wallman

It doesn’t seem hard at all to build attractive slick structures like this Wallman+Times Gp. project at 65 Broadway. As opposed to that chaotic jumbled awkward mess of 75 Broadway ave. by Hazelview+WZMH
