I believe so. I passed through the Eglinton east part where the underground stations are. The construction looks very incomplete with cranes still installed. I believe this will open early 2022.

It's because Skytower will have its own podium and not be shared like the 65 and the 80 floor towers. I also think that Skytower wont have any parking due to its height.

I agree with all. Supposedly the traffic priority signalling is something the city refuses to let the TTC have for some reason we don't know.

True, but to be fair.. Hudson yards alone would crush every building built or being built on the wwaterfront. And 'm not talking about the 1 Yonge complex as that project could prove very interesting if built correctly.

Cool thanks. This really sucks and could be time consuming if they're bragging about how fast you could get across town 60% faster.

That was the original plan. But we all know why it's getting buried.. Doug Ford. He has and will do ANYTHING to make sure that he doesn't see a single track laid around his ward or his place of rest for that matter. He hates anything to do with trams, LRT's or streetcars. This is why he is...

Yup and it's already beginning with York region and Toronto for a pilot project for 5 years.

I've been wondering to myself for a while now if and when the Eglinton LRT becomes operational, will they treat the surface section as a streetcar line as in stopping only when someone is at the stop or wants to get off a stop.. otherwise skipping it, or will they treat the surface section like...

It's basically the same if someone says they're from Brampton to an American. They'll obviously have no clue until you say it's by Toronto.

Exactly. New York and Toronto have similarities to each other, regarding their boroughs coming together as one city. Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten island come together to FORM New York City. Downtown New york is located in the borough of Manhattan. Same with Toronto. Toronto has...

From this view, i just realized that we'll be loosing a good view point of the CN tower from this angle forever. It's also because how massive these towers will be. Especially now with the pandemic, these towers could be hard to sell. Even the pricing might change peoples minds about buying...

Also It's because Toronto was built around the car. So it's always going to be the king of the road. We must remember that our government LOVES to drag their heels when it comes to building better/more transit in favor of cars. Because of this, Toronto is now playing a 30 year catch up game with...

Exactly. People are panicking as if companies are leaving in droves to other places. Yes Toronto's vancy rate is really high right now, but that doesn't mean that it'll be permanent. This is Toronto, not Montreal, Vancouver or Calgary. We have multiple companies invested in the city and not just...

It's basically crunch time so the rush to build this "on time" and on budget is crucial.

I would've definetly preferred the DRL over the OL only because they would've used the same rolling stock of trains which would been easier to stash. The only thing that made me think about the OL more was that the reports were saying that the DRL would have less of a distance to go to, they...

It's more concerning that he's now the new Liberal leader for Ontario. Which means he's going to champion almost EVERYTHING that Toronto doesn't need and what's only good for the suburbs.
