Thank you! I had a hunch it was early 60's but some of the design language gave off 70s vibes too. It's a shame we are slowly losing much of the TDSB's mid-century architecture, but the attempt to make the new school less car-centric by pushing the building up to the street front is commendable...

I think it's more sophisticated and far less fromagesque than most of what's been put up in Dubai

Without (trying) to sound terribly macabre, can we just turn this pit into a WTC-style waterfall feature and move on?

Now this is medium density! Glad to see a change from the typical medium-density proposals in the city, which tend to span an entire city block in width and provide nothing to the street front other than an uninterrupted expanse of double-height glass.

I'm really glad this barren and windswept intersection is getting anchored with some striking architecture. I think this will define the area much like the Foresters building did in 1966 (not to mention the now deceased Inn on the Park further west on Leslie).

haha I was going to add something along the lines of *ignore the reflections* but then thought that would only draw more attention to them...that being said this monolithic black wall is not the nicest thing to be greeted with at work every morning. A mural (of any kind) would be much appreciated!
