I'm a 905 driver, but I don't drive downtown because the Gardiner is hell. I can't even comprehend how/why people put themselves through that. Maybe they *should* toll it just to make it function a bit better. I'm not suggesting 407-level tolls though. Just to make work better both for drivers...

Finally got around to taking some pics showing the new configuration at Hurontario and Burnhamthorpe.

It has the same look as every GO tunnel ever, so I dunno why y'all are so surprised. It's like you never took a GO train before lol.

I am a bit confused by this. There's already a Liberty Street here. So is this becoming Liberty Street instead? Or are they just referring to it this way to mean New Liberty Village Street? Also, isn't this street supposed to have been part of the Front Street extension?

I remember Sheridan College renamed themselves Sheridan Institute or something. But no one calls it that. So I expect people will continue to just call it Humber College.

Wish Metrolinx owned the Milton corridor and used a machine like this. The ride on Milton has been pretty bumpy/scary lately.

I can report that as of this moment they’ve reopened the north section of the Hurontario and Burnhamthorpe intersection that has been closed for some time. They appear to be in progress but as of writing they haven’t closed off the southern section to work on it, yet.

I like how some maps I've seen, people have shown the grade-separated parts of Eglinton, for instance, the same as the subway lines, and the at-grade sections in a skinnier line to illustrate that the level of service is different. I think that makes some intuitive sense.

Even without photos I appreciate the write-up.

Kind of ironic with how highly standardized GO Transit is, especially with something like the bilevels.
