Yes, but it seemed more proactive to clear out the leaves before the drains became clogged. No notice, just an army of trucks one late October morning scooping, plowing, vacuuming and hauling truckloads of leaves away. I moved here in August, but neighbours said it's usually done every year...

I thought this service was only in Etobicoke and Scarborough but there were City crews in my neighbourhood (Woodbine and Danforth) collecting leaves from the sidewalks and gutters.

Lovely pics. If I were to have a staycation in the City, it would be here. Not to continue this off-topic discussion too much, but I see this with a lot of the oaks on my street. Funny enough, for most of them it's only the bottom 1/4 (of the tree's canopy) still holding their leaves.

Concord is usually pretty quick once they get to the tower floorplates. I think it seems quicker for Canada House because it took awhile to complete the podium which is fairly large. Now, a floor per week is within reason.
