Not to disturb the dead thread, but the documents for the Zoning Bylaw Amendment were all added to the AIC on March 15. Looks like they are moving forward with this now since Lamb's building is wrapping up now. One note I saw while glancing through is that they approved the low parking ratio...

From this morning. Noticed that they started to install the glass while I was biking by, will have to get a closer look later on.

    Toronto T3 Sterling Road | 52.52m | 11s | Hines | DLR

Pretty quite place to check out today. Just a guy motoring around in a scissor lift. Some really nice subtle differences in the detailing from the other T3 project on the waterfront.

From today; Front windows for the second floor went in on Friday I think. This building is going to have a fun little face to it.

    Toronto Ace Hotel Toronto | 44.8m | 13s | Carbon Hospitality | Shim-Sutcliffe

Walked by last night and the lights were on. Looks like things are onto the last details, and the entry cantilevered glass has been installed.

Getting the Curtain Wall Frame going up on the back of the building. Kind of a brown-brass metallic colour. Seems to compliment the brickwork nicely.

The brick has been going up on the back and north side of the building. I'm liking the over grouted brick, not something that I've seen done recently.

From this morning. I completely missed that the crane had disappeared. Looks like they are well on their way to forming the ground floor arches. A very fun building to watch going up.

    Toronto 134 Parliament | 156.3m | 46s | Lamb Dev Corp | a—A

From personal experience I would agree the very Junior level is quite saturated (less than two years experience). However, it seems that all the firms are hiring people that are somewhat experienced in the field, and everyone is seemingly too busy. I assume the oversaturation in the new graduate...

I think you mean taking notes 😂, even the terrible layouts at Sterling Automotive weren't quite as ballsy as this IMO. The only one I could think of that was potentially as bad was the Units of Sadness in the corner of the project at 10 St Mary, but it's always a race to the bottom. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So, this is in my ongoing list of worst layouts I have seen. I had to check for myself so I scaled the plans up and measured it (they may not be 100% bang on I'm just scaling these from the pdf) . I have to say I have zero clue what they are even thinking for the proposed layouts here. (19'-4" x...

From this morning; Some of the mechanical showing up on site it seems like. Sorry for the lens flare insanity.

    Toronto The Well | 174.03m | 46s | RioCan | Hariri Pontarini

Pictures from today; still lots of activity on the site seemingly. Front street is still closed between Draper and Spadina, looks like they have a decent amount of repair work to do.....

    Toronto No7 Rosedale | 16.76m | 4s | Platinum Vista | Hariri Pontarini

From today; lots of progress since the last update. Doing some kind of pour on the upper floors today. Looks like they are pretty close to being ready to start installing cladding and glazing.

    Toronto 11 YV | 213m | 62s | Metropia | Sweeny &Co

From today; Crane being assembled, you can see them sending some Timmies up to the guys on the crane while moving the counterweight.

    Toronto U of T: Schwartz Reisman Innovation Centre (Phase 1) | 64.8m | 13s | U of T | Weiss/Manfredi

From today; Really loving the texture of the terrazzo panels. Really looks like this building will be a cool contemporary nod to some of the brutalist buildings in the area.

    Toronto West Condos | 46.51m | 14s | Aspen Ridge | Core Architects

From Nov. 13; Ground Floor looks like it has all been poured and most of the columns have been poured up to the Second Floor slab. Starting to see some formwork for the second floor slab in the South-East Corner of the site, with the North West Corner having the least progress so far.

    Toronto 12 Ossington | 19.81m | 4s | Hullmark | Hariri Pontarini

Not a huge update, but second floor plate is done, and looks like they are close to ready to put the third floor plate.
