I lived in Oakville and I just don't see the justification for many of the home prices. One needs a car to get anywhere, most of the retail and restaurants on offer are the same big box and chains that you can find in any other city in Ontario, the traffic and noise pollution is quite high...

I am late in joining the conversation here, but does the Town of Ajax have a master plan for a dense urban environment in this area similar to the Mississauga City Centre and Vaughan Metropolitan Centre? The two large towns by themselves on a strode with low rise structures seems a bit odd.

Is the basement of the previous building still there or was it removed and replaced with some soil from elsewhere until a full-scale dig starts?
