Just spotted the cladding myself and snapped some shots. Just what we were expecting :).

Was in the area over lunch and spotted the glazing as well. Snapped some shots for everyone. I like their choice and it reminds me of Theatre Park's glazing to a degree.

That sounds awesome! I was just at Maple Leaf Square yesterday catching the end of the 3rd period through to the shootout and thinking how amazing it would be to host a future Winter Classic. Hope to hear more about it.

What's with all the open square cuts in the roof of the heritage building. Are they putting in skylights? Curious because I don't see any in the renders.

Development sign just went up this afternoon, and here is what the site plan shows. Indeed it's two separate buildings, 28 and 26 storeys tall, with a 1 storey gallery space building fronting onto Soudan.

It's real starting to come together, great shot :). I'd like to know as well if there are any amenities up there.

Just came back from my afternoon walk and spotted the glass for myself! :) Snapped a bunch to share with everyone. It looks like you can clearly see the attainment points for the archirectural metal bands. This will be one stunning tower! I didn't have my regular camera with me today, so...

Thanks for sharing those georgevicbell! Got my own glimpse this evening coming home from the island airport. Looks like they still need to pour the new platform edge, but it's coming together! Where the new ceiling meets the old one.

Have a closeup look at the top of the west tower and those angled roof beams. Could those be to hold up the swiss cheese roof top?? :)

Went by Dineen Coffee Co today, and snapped a bunch of shots with the heritage facade going back up. To me it seems that they just took entire sections of the wall off the old building and are placing them back in large sections, not brick by brick. Don't recall seeing something like this done...

Personally I think another MLS type mixed use facility at this location would add tremendous value to the community. Just a little concerned about it being 8 storeys and how well the design would need to transition between the heritage facade and the new construction above.

Unless the towers were to take up a substantial portion of the footprint of the warehouse building near the back half, and the facade will wrap around? Trying to imagine how the site plan could possibly be layed out to include two towers.

This is news to me! Two towers in conjunction with the commercial space? This should be interesting. Were we expecting a residential component here?
