It's a peculiar re-do. That skybridge-garden idea goes with the new towers well enough, but looks like it's using the existing brutalist building as an ottoman. I also think the applique arches trend is one of those stylistic fads, like 70's mansard roofs, that might fail to age gracefully. But...

The details chosen better be a paragon of finesse and high style on this one, because it's inherent blockishness is going to take a miracle to overcome. Hoooo boy.

What a disappointment. The project went from something colourfully unique that might have charged-up the street, to another staggered bit of grey blockitecture that's more or less indistinguishable from countless other projects across the GTA. I swear this grey, same-style mania that's seized...

Yeah, I have to reluctantly agree with you on this one, so far. I guess I so loved Bar Raval that I've been holding out hope ever since.
