Completely agree.

This is another indication that Toronto is really starting to grow up and use urban space more wisely. This little project is perfect for the area and I look forward to seeing more buildings like this get constructed in empty or underused space throughout the city.

Depends on the building. Most often your balcony actually belongs to the condo corporation and is considered common area (for the exclusive use of the unit owner). Same rule applies to your front door - you don't own it and cannot alter the look of it, for example.

Very nice! Looks like the north side, facing Queen St W, is a bit of an afterthought, though... it would look better if the glass wraped entirely around the building.

"Exaggeration" is an understatement to say the least - Torontonians are truly spoiled by the incredible level of service provided to them. Strike aside, downtown Toronto has never been cleaner.

"Frameless" glass could have been done, but would have been very cost prohibitive - especially for a condo. That being said, I think the lobby is going to be easily one of the best of any residential building in the city!
