Canada rated world's soundest bank system: survey

Everyone knows about what you just explained. That conversation is over 10-12 months ago. The issue now is the repercussion. massive debt --> failing banks --> government/inter-banks bail-outs --> investors lose money, pulling money out --> drying up pool of money --> credit freeze --> economy...

Canada rated world's soundest bank system: survey

Regarding the two financial institutions, that matter was dealt months ago, per this article, http://www.thestar.com/Business/article/514549 My guess is that those two are Sun Life and ManuLife as they have the biggest exposures to financial crisis in the U.S. As far as our commercial...

Canada rated world's soundest bank system: survey

YAY!! Canada!! This is the kind of news we need in times like this. We take anything we can get to hold our confidence steady! All our largest banks are commercial banks who are rich in cash and deposit. As long as they maintain good loan-to-deposit ratio, they should be fine. can...

    Toronto Minto Midtown | 160.01m | 52s | Minto Group | Zeidler

your kitchen looks fine. IMO for the mess and hassle you'd have to go thru, it's not even worth it. If you're thinking about doing re-decoration or designing, do something that is more visible, like wall-paint or lighting or window treatment, furnitures, etc, etc. Sink is probably the last thing...

under-mounted sink is usually an upgrade. Judging by my experience with Minto, you might as well stick with the basic and upgrade yourself. 1. you can get at least 30-40% cheaper 2. I bet the finishing will be much better

For a developer with their reputation, I have to say that their finishings are piss-poor, based on what I've seen in my unit and looking at other units. For example look at that rather obvious split covering panel in the kitchen island. Major items in my unit (the loft pictured in previous...

Steps for a First Time Buyer?

    1. find a lawyer first 2. Get pre-approved from the bank 3. After the first two, walk into the sales office 4. Bring the purchase agreement to your lawyer, discuss the addendums you want to put in, such as change of (non-structural) floorplan lay-out, put restriction on how long they can delay...

U Condos (The Pemberton Group) - Real Estate

I wouldn't buy this project. What is there to justify the high price? Location? I don't think so. First we know it's not on Bloor or Yorkville. The developer is trying to sell it as part of Bloor or Yorkville, but sorry, it just ain't. It's not One Bedford or One St. Thomas. Sure It's...

I think people are commenting the loft pics, not the model suite pics

yeah the pipes are permanent. you can choose the kitchen colors, but as far as the layout it's fixed, though you can opt not to install the kitchen island for a reduced price. Without the island it makes the unit even roomier.

Murano Condos (Lanterra Developments) - Real Estate -

Let's put it this way, if you expect return of your investment comes from rental fees, etc, then it it's OK. ....not great, as there are alot of competitors in the area But if you expect the ROI comes from condo price appreciation, then fuhggedaboutit

    Pre-delivery Inspection and occupancy fees

Thanks for the advises. Mine is coming next week, 2 freakin days before occupancy date!!! I entered the premise last week, and it was nowhere in occupancy condition and this is from a well-known developer, Minto.
