A question for someone familiar with construction technology: how are the segments of the super-columns fastened to the segments underneath them? I'd imagine, just pouring concrete around would not provide enough structural strength given the weight of the whole tower above. Do they just run...

Yeah, that makes sense, especially in the most recent photo - it looks like a ramp. Can't wait for the super columns to show up on site and for the above-grade construction to begin.

So will the office building's concrete core support at least some weight of the condo portion or none at all? Intuitively it seems like it's too much weight on the center of the 'table' of the exoskeleton. I wish there were structural diagrams available showing how this will work.

Bay Adelaide East is the real L-Tower.

First balcony glass is up on the Western side. It's darker than on the renderings.

Do they pore concrete on top of those metal floors? That would explain why they covered the lower floors it with sheets.

I noticed identical lining on many other projects far from the lake like 1 Bloor East, U Condos, etc. Although insulating basement from leaks (like rain water) is highly likely the purpose.
