Toronto Spadina Subway Extension Emergency Exits | ?m | 1s | TTC | IBI Group

Here is the original question: I think the post-secondary pass is "similar" enough to the UPASS. Yeah you pay 6 times more, but you get what you pay for. The TTC knows the majority of students are already captive riders (maybe not York but definitely the downtown post-secondary) so they...

Toronto Spadina Subway Extension Emergency Exits | ?m | 1s | TTC | IBI Group

I agree with your initial comment that it would be expensive to coordinate such a system across GTA transit but the discounted Metropass is similar to the UPASS - a post-secondary student only pass, unlimited travel, discounted fee.

Wrong... at least for the TTC http://www.ttc.ca/Fares_and_passes/Fare_information/Seniors_students_and_children/Post_Secondary_Students.jsp Post secondary students get a $22 discount on their monthly pass

    Toronto The Britt Condos | 142.03m | 41s | Lanterra | Arcadis

I think this is a more uniform looking "stacked" building. Gerrard works, but there is so much going on with that building I don't know where to look first! And the old Sutton Place will definitely be less playful as a retrofit compared to a new build.

Compared to 43 Gerrard this is pure harmony

    Eaton Centre Shooting

From the Star: “Over the last five years, each and every year consistently, the safety of this city has been improved,” he said. While homicides have decreased, shootings are up, attributed, in part, to gang members becoming more brazen in firing off bullets as an intimidation tactic...

    Toronto Harbour Ferries

Lol, nice one! :D I agree that this is still pretty far for most and that the ferries would survive, but I think a bridge from the Eastern Gap would effectively kill the (desired?) isolation of the resident community on the island. That said, if its not a huge issue for the community then...

My guess would be contraflow as well As a broader statement on the bike path: I appreciate the design and commitment to build it but I cannot see myself using it As part of the "promenade"/Martin Goodman Trail it is a multi-use path and not a bike lane. I cycle aggressively and there are too...
