    No, I don't think 95c dollar is low. Meant to convey that I agree that our low dollar (in the past) was a strong incentive to film here, along with a number of other attractive features - but these have very little weight without the support of a low dollar.

    EDIT: I agree. I was always under the impression that our low dollar was the main attraction of Toronto/Vancouver. Of course proximity and having many skilled people here also made it more attractive, but only because the dollar was also low. I like recognizing scenes filmed in Toronto though!

    I agree with zoned fares - so many other cities use this system. However, many people might decide to drive instead if this were to happen... however, maybe not if accompanied by increased fees for driving (e.g. parking, toll to get into downtown, etc.)

    I agree with you. Look at 1/1+1 bedrooms: can be anywhere from 450-800 sqft, but the same number of people usually live in both. I can see how this could be another hurdle for larger, "family-friendly" 3 bdrm condo units.

    I don't know about condos being green, but I agree about the heat issue. I haven't turned on my heat at all, and usually don't for most of the winter. In fact, sometimes I need to open the balcony doors because it is too warm. But does this mean condo units require more A/C in the summer...

    Not commenting about this unit in particular, but don't get fooled by crafty staging (or the lack of staging). Sometimes you can find good value with a poorly presented or unstaged unit that other buyers have passed on.
