AHK: You sound like one of the pretentious dick's that makes buildings like this undesirable. You don't come off as being friendly. Do you even know the names of your neighbors? My Demographic?? And how would u know any of that about me??
First of all my main problem was that these people...
I recently toured this building and was pretty impressed with it. Awesome East views. Really nice fit and finish in the common areas. Does anyone know any other buildings that are this nice inside?? One thing that pissed me off was hearing this pretentious older (early 50s) couple bitching to...
I would never buy a condo in Etobicoke. There are houses nearby that can be bought for reasonable prices. The whole point of condo living to me is being close to all the action.
I don't think that would have anything to do with it. The units were already sold. This makes no sense to me. I would have built 8 stories on this corner.
That would be nice, but I'm not holding my breath. I've heard way to many closing dates to count. Who's your source?
I need to go out and get another interest rate hold. I bought on assignment so finding banks that will do this type of deal at the new purchase price and not the original isn't...
Yes it's annoying, but calm down. No one is going to lose money. Selling prices are pretty strong. From what I understand the builder intentionally delayed submitting the registration papers so they could sell out their existing projects first. This is a dirty move. Most condos register in 3-6...
This is a huge surprise to me. A building doesn't even have to be 100% done to be registered. I don't know what these guys are doing. Maybe the city is backlogged? There are definitely a lot of pissed off owners.
Why did they hire those architects to draw up plans if they just cheaped out on it in the end? It's still a pretty nice looking building. Looks better than Bohemian, 8 gladstone and ART. The lobby is a little budget but whatever. $480 a foot for in a hot neighborhood for a brand new building is...
Yes the prices are getting ridiculous, but with the amount of foreign investors purchasing units downtown I wouldn't be surprised if Toronto becomes the next Vancouver. This ride to the top isn't slowing down anytime soon.
Yea defn. But what else?
Has 1011 Landsdowne been torn down yet? From what I have read that building is a huge slum. From an investors perspective having nearby rental buildings that rent out 2 bedroom units for as low as $1000 would hurt. What's the appeal of this area besides the prices?
