    Baby, we got a bubble!?

I remember hearing tons of traders in New York made huge money on oil after 9/11. Is it wrong? No, the opportunity was there to make money, someone is going to do it. Is it good for society, probably not. It seems to me some small group of people taking advantage and the rest are paying for the...

well said. ppl need to look forward. the rest of the world is adding alternative power. it is not for certain it will help in any significant way, but doing nothing is actually going backwards.

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

^ this efficient apartment is small but nicely done. For $1000/month, I don't think the investor will have a problem renting it out. But the $551psf is insane for pre-construction in regent park. As for the article mentioning the 270 sf apartment at $200,000, that's a whopping $740psf. Stay...

    Richmond Hill Beverly Hills Condominium | ?m | 24s | Great Lands

Are you talking about University of Guelph's South Residence or East Townhouse (student village)? I think you're referring to South Residence since you mentioned the 60s. I lived in South for 1 year and this looks nothing like it. South is made up of three diamond quarters, each with inner...

    Monorail for Toronto

there's an elevated line in Paris near the Eiffel Tower and it's in some expensive area. Those people don't mind, they just don't open their windows that much. those cars run on rubber tires, i think it is to reduce noise

Downtown Markham: 170 & 180 Enterprise (Remington Group, multiple buildings)

wow, so disappointed that they are scraping the European style public square, i was looking forward to that the most. now this is not special anymore for me. i was hoping the public square would draw ppl like unionville main street. sigh

    Toronto Emerald Park Condos | 128.92m | 40s | Bazis | Rosario Varacalli

traffic is still going to be worse and i'd say underground parking is even more of a nightmare if you ever been to pacific mall on a busy day.

Is a T&T going to be there for sure? I live at Yonge-Finch and I take the 401 on Yonge every morning. Yonge-Sheppard is already a disaster. Adding more off-peak drivers there will make it unbearable, especially with more of my fellow Chinese (women) drivers... "Asian (women) drivers, no survivors".

    Toronto Howard Park Residences | 24.99m | 8s | Triumph | RAW Design

If that is true, then u'd have a second terrace for each unit that looks into their neighbours. I also realize the same problem with the lower triangle balconies. They could maybe solve this by dividing the units awkwardly creating triangular rooms. It is impossible to put a divider in that...

    Design Opinion

I just took a look at the survey form, it does not really ask us to critic your design business, more like probing prospective clients to help your business. It does not say your business name, company website, address, nothing. Why do you need our personal information to such detail to what...

    Toronto Howard Park Residences | 24.99m | 8s | Triumph | RAW Design

who is going to maintain those gardens? it appears to be shared between 2 units with each unit having their own open balcony. if managed by the two owners, then the effect wont be the same as rendering because all the gardens would look different. if managed by building, then it would be...
