Wording doesn't sound that bad. Reading between the lines it seems to me that this will likely end up higher. Whether they get their 338m height Im not sure. But it sounds like the city is willing to let them go up somewhat.

This tower really intrigues me. I am curious how it will turn out. The renders always have me feeling both ways like it could pleasantly surprise or disappoint. Im really curious how they are going to do the big holes. Will be interesting.

Not quite as flashy as the first renders but I never expected those to be built in the first place. While disappointing to some, these renders at least have a good possibility of being built. We will probably see a few more tweaks going forward but I think it's still very unique. Nothing else...

It's hard to say how those holes will turn out. Time will tell. I agree with you the north and south side will look awesome. East/West.....the jury is still out. It will either look pretty weird, or awesome. Depends how its executed.

I have very low confidence in any new office projects in this environment. With CIBC Square, 160 Front, Bay Adelaide N, The Well Office Tower, and 16 York all under/construction or just finished, as well as a few other smaller towers under construction, there's going to be quite a bit of space...

That's your opinion. I think The Bow is nice but it just doesn't have the elegance to it. The white triangle lines are too prominent and make it look tacky and cheapen the look to me. CIBC is more sleek, modern, and will photograph a million times better than The Bow due to the shimmering...

The pictures just keep getting nicer and nicer with this tower. Now this is just my opinion, but to me this is the nicest tower to go up in Canada in the last 25 years. It even beats out Telus Sky in Calgary, and anything built in Toronto since at least Scotia Plaza.
