As you see, they started with cladding of the connecting building and it looks not bad: They are working on 25th floor on the south tower and on the 6th floor of the north tower:

Fall 2013? It would be good if they finish podium by then... I would say late 14-early 15.

The middle building (connecting two towers) is non-residential.

I see; I thought GO coaches can handle both low and high floor... Thanks for the info. How about VIA platforms? Are they to remain low as well? VIA coaches can handle both types of platforms.

Are platforms for GO and VIA trains to remain low-floor? I thought they would re-construct the platforms into high-floor (as you see in Europe and in Montreal), but there might be some limitations preventing the upgrade? To me, these high platforms are incredibly convenient and, to some extent...

Unless it is completely retractable/collapsible so it will not be visible from outside?

thanks cruzin4u; I am not discouraged at all; I just didn't want to overwhelm this thread with too many pictures and not enough comments... I do like to take pictures too! I am going to test my new 10-22 wide-angle lens this weekend, which should get better panoramic views :)

^^ Probably not, considering that the construction of the York U station is the major bottleneck; the construction of the station is pending to start in Jan 2013 (accoring to the TTC report above), while other stations have been constructed for some time now.

Are you sure? I counted 42-43 floors on the west side before the setback. Maybe it has to do with added floors and the rendering I used is outdated? That's what I used:
