I believe the current bylaws make it so that there must be a significant demarcation in style from the original preserved building and the new addition. The two portions must be easily identifiable as original and addition

So I guess they’re not keeping the brick facades of the old buildings like they indicated in the renderings. I just went past there and the entire corner has been cleared

They should put a roof over that central spine like The Well. It would be a good flow of traffic to both properties and would hopefully spur more development like this in the future

Would be cool if the TTC ran streetcars through the central runway axis. Dufferin is right there and laying more tracks would be easy. Such a good way to integrate transit into the neighborhood, and eventually the surrounding area

This building looked so much better in the renders. A stark black facade would have been so much more harmonious with the existing TD Centre
