A lot of cranes, and not just the Indigenous Hub development. Count 'em ! The latest tower crane was assembled yesterday at the northwest corner of Cherry St. and Mill St. (crane furthest to the left). Wide cell shot taken this evening.

My wife and I launched our kayak from Cherry Beach early this morning to tour the Cherry St. bridges. Along the way we passed the 300-ton Atlas crane in Polson slip. We also bid farewell to the Glovertown Spirit barge (with turntable) and Beverly M1 tug as it passed us.

The barge is back in Keating next to the bridge as of this morning.

Yes, over the long weekend ... business as usual.

St. Patrick skeleton revealed. The third photo shows white panels concealing what were once blind passageways between the north and south platforms, one in which a gruesome crime took place in 1975.

It was merely moved from the ship channel (where it's normally moored) to the Keating Channel next to bridge in order to accomodate the CSL lake freighter offloading salt in the ship channel.
