God love the owners of the Keating Channel Pub & Grill ! Always the gracious hosts with superb hospitality day in and day out for so many years. A cozy comfort establishment worth supporting (and a great patio in season to boot).

Oh I do hope it will not be demolished ! Such a pretty little parkette despite it's current situ amid all the heavy construction traffic / dust and all.

Looks like It'll be a wet one according to the forecast.

From an email I just recieved ...

It will be very difficult for me to get Wednesday off work. Those who can and do make it for the inaugural opening / crossing of ... looking forward to hearing their experience and photos posted thereof ! It'll be balcony shots of Cherry and perhaps an evening walk with camera and tripod...

Hopefully Lafarge will move their cement facility from Polson.

Watching it all unfold, vehicle soon to be hoisted up.

Friday night. Gets all quiet here in the Distillery at this time of the year (not to mention it's bloody cold !)

I can just imagine the traffic on weekend nights heading to and from Rebel nightclub. On current Cherry St. it's always a see of red and white from my viewpoint.

A photo I took on January 29, 2016 from the Cherry St. lift bridge looking east along Keating Channel adjacent to the Keating Channel Pub & Grill. I remember hearing the ice crackle ... it was -30ish ...

No pun intended, but looking forward I can see this happen (the potential for accidents). Pedestrians and cyclists be very aware when crossing this intersection !
