Yes, yes I know ... a cheesy skyline shot from Polson Pier. But look how Pinnacle (with crane atop) now punctuates the skyline at centre of photo !

It has been a while since posting on this forum. Progress as seen this weekend from my balcony in the Distillery. As well, the cruise ship Viking Octantis was moored in the Port Lands.

Cranes in Canary. A distant view of tower cranes rising above the Canary District as seen through a row of mobile office trailers on a plot of land just north of the 45 Parliament St. Equinix Data Centre. Is this plot still considered for the proposed Downtown Data Centre ?

It's a chiller ! View of the Cherry Street bridges with distant steam devils rising from Lake Ontario early this morning.

Finally had the chance to walk down and see the bridge close up yesterday late afternoon.

Northern bridge end hoisted into position under hazy sunshine. I believe this was supposed to happen yesterday but was postponed due to very high winds. Shot taken around noon. Sorry for the images being slightly blurry and washed but balcony door handle stuck closed ... shot through glass.
