Alright it's going up and we'll leave it at that then. They will have to rip up Charles and rebuild that road when these all go up. It already is riding a roller coaster between Jarvis and Church. Heaven forbid if you are walking and there are lakes on the road due to it subsiding.

Sorry to hear Casa II is not going up but it is not happening for reasons that I support (too high desity and too close to existing tall buildings). Charles would have started looking like Bay street. I have a view on it from the X Condo. Still I will have X2, Couture, Casa, Chaz, One Bloor...

Have not seen all the posts in this thread, but The Holt Renfrew tower development has been announced. Supposed to be 83 storeys from the application of re-zoing placard at the site. It is under 300m though.

I have not. You should mention it to the new Property Manager Howard. There are signs in front of the building for the X2 construction vehicles and that is from the same developer. No reason that Monarch (Couture) should be given this privilege.

Lanterra is the developer with most of these issues. Shoddy construction. All smoke and broken windows. :confused: City engineers better scrutinize what is going up more diligently. All is see is glass from my condo in the sky. Albeit better built. Or at least I hope.

Not just you but me too! Counters look much less cluttered and it fits with my minamalist lifestyle change. Some who have visited said it would be better over the oven/stove but it would detract from the clean lines and my built in appliances.:cool:

FYI...I spoke to Howard (Equity ICI's new Property Manager at the X) and he stated that they will soon be cleaning the inaccessible exterior windows. They have gotten quotes in from a number of companies and they will be picking one very soon. I am thankful as they are getting pretty dirty...
