Yes, fair point! These are also good. I was thinking more about the stretch of towers with giant podiums closer to the Gardiner.

I’m a big fan of this development, too. Possibly this is sacrilege to say here, but I would gladly have traded a significant amount of height in the new projects along the waterfront in exchange for a more human- and neighbourhood-friendly scale and interesting designs and materials.

Nice to see that they aren’t cladding the alley side in garbage to cut costs.

Just noticing that they finished this part of the roof, too, not just the elevator stack. Wonder if they’re getting ready to put up glass around these elevator lobbies. Developer does seem to be in a hurry to showcase as many of the exterior finishes as possible. 📷: @Benito

Looks like they’ve already placed the rebar cages for the next level of mega columns. Definitely get the sense that things are speeding up now. 📷: @thaivic

It looks like a couple of sections of the forms for the columns can now be slid straight back on tracks instead of being removed completely each time. Presumably those form pieces will stay in place now and rise along with the platform on each column. That should help speed things along a little...

Whoever was wondering if there’d be a corner support for a floor that starts a new set of hangers, looks like you have your answer. 📷: @Johnny Au

Two observations: 1. The central forms have finally started climbing 2. There are more panels for what we presume will be flying table forms standing by I feel like we may finally be nudging closer to that mythical time when this building starts to take off.

They’re still in there, no? I think these are they (one on the right is one of the angled ones). 📷: @Justelena

No workers today, huh? I’ll try not to spend the day fretting about what that could mean… 😁 (and no, that’s not an invitation for the never-get-built crowd to pile on).

So this is different… previous slabs don’t have this ridge of exposed rebar along all the outer edges, but they do have clearly visible hardware for attaching the curtainwall, which I don’t see in this one. Curious to know what‘s different or changing at this level.🤔 📷: @Benito Previous...

It looks like maybe they’re starting to set up tables? This one set of forms is made up of large panels (compared to the other sets) and it looks like it has legs instead of the yellow posts. 📷: @Benito

    Toronto 160 Front West | 239.87m | 46s | Cadillac Fairview | AS + GG

The low rise matches the section around the heritage facade where the main curtain wall sweeps back.. I feel like it’ll all come together nicely when it’s done. 📷: @Red Mars

IMO, I think that the final touch - cladding the underside of this - is what’s really going to elevate this building. It’ll feel like a beautiful sparkling ‘box’ displayed on a plinth. 📷: @Rascacielo

Super interested to see how all the form and elevator mechanisms will come together. Looks like we got a few new pieces today. 📷: @BloorMan

So the next set of hangers are attached at this level, I guess? 📷: @thaivic
