    Toronto Queens Quay & Water's Edge Revitalization | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

I take the 509 every day as part of my commute. I've seen emergency vehicles use the ROW a few times, particularly when QQ is backed up. What I'm curious about is why they don't give St. Clair a grassy surface, considering emergency vehicles DON'T use that ROW.

Toronto Architecture From The 1960's and 70's

    That would have been incredible.

Or at least some red paint/hatching. Ideally it would have been a grass surface but oh well.

TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

Maybe they really meant one streetcar every four months... Can the TTC double sue?

TTC: Cherry Street reconstruction and streetcar trackage (City of Toronto/TTC, U/C)

Ditto. I don't know if I've just been noticing it more but it seems like the poles are coming off the wires much more often lately... At least at Bathurst/Lakeshore.

    Toronto Rogers Centre Renovations | ?m | ?s | Toronto Blue Jays | Populous

Lighting isn't the biggest issue the Jays would face with having natural grass, it's drainage. Lots of stadiums in the UK use lights to keep the grass green and growing (because there's never any direct sunlight).

We can't even bury our utility lines in downtown, let alone metro lines.

    Toronto Lower Simcoe Ramp | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto

That Simcoe-Lake Shore/Harbour intersection is going to be even worse for pedestrians... Nice.
  18. Red October

    Toronto Rogers Centre Renovations | ?m | ?s | Toronto Blue Jays | Populous

Looking at it now, it's difficult to believe that it once looked like this: http://www.baseball-fever.com/showthread.php?98390-Which-Of-The-New-Ballparks-Will-Age-The-Best-And-Worst...
  19. Red October

    Toronto 88 Scott Street | 203.9m | 58s | Concert | P + S / IBI

I assume he meant The Berczy (which really isn't as bad as some people here try and say it is).
