    Toronto Union Station Revitalization | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto | NORR

They have a system for it, and I don't think it needs to limit capacity. Doesn't the Amtrak Cascades just stop next to the border station? Why would agents drive from YVR?

GO Transit: Union Station Shed Replacement & Track Upgrades (Zeidler)

IIRC people made a ton of noise about grade crossings on Stouffville after increased service and suddenly every crossing is being grade separated?

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

Theres not a huge point, it doesn't encourage very much ridership according to case studies, so its mainly a social benefit. One would hope . . .

    YRT/Viva Construction Thread (Rapidways, Terminals)

How many routes will even call here? YRT seems to be building so many terminals and yet they provide so little service

GO Transit: Construction Projects (Metrolinx, various)

Do you have a link, can't seem to find it on Metrolinx Engage

GO Transit: Construction Projects (Metrolinx, various)

I'm suggesting they might terminate some trains there while Scarborough Junction remains at grade and / or until the fourth track to Union isn't there. Hypothetically you could run trains every 30 or even 15 minutes from Unionville to Kennedy with one train per hour going all the way to Union...

GO Transit: Construction Projects (Metrolinx, various)

I am very curious to see if Metrolinx would consider running more frequent service to Kennedy once the double tracking and dual platforms are ready, while the ride is certainly longer to get downtown it would at least mean a high quality link

GO Transit: Construction Projects (Metrolinx, various)

Curious if anyone knows whats going on with the bridge over West Highland Creek WRT Stouffville Line Double Tracking? It seems like most of the rest of double tracking is done but the bridge has not been expanded. Previously there was some heavy equipment there but it seems to have been moved ...

Metrolinx: Bombardier Flexity Freedom & Alstom Citadis Spirit LRVs

The trains are an issue though, hes not wrong that the line would be near perfect with better rolling stock . . . The studies and modelling done are highly questionable, just go look at how the studies "envisioned" elevated stations, it was clear that the study was sandbagged to suggest at...

I really hope East Harbour GO happens sooner than later, will really improve access to the area!

Apparently at this mornings Cutric Conference it was confirmed that the GO OnCorr bidders were not interested in Hydrogen . . .

Longitudinal seating makes a ton of sense for Metros, given when this is meant to open I am sure we will get LCDs.

    Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

This is something we always hear with systems . . . we can run shorter trains and save money etc. I don't see it being done very often. In Vancouver yes but the M-Line isn't changing its config at rush hour. If this was the case too then I am sure we could safely run Line 2 as 4 car trains for...

The sad truth is that our LRT's are a lot closer to the 510 than to the Subway for a lot of their length tho

    Toronto Cowdray Court | 130.25m | 41s | Gemterra | Teeple Architects

Have there been any updates on this? Particularly the road connection to VGS? An improved walking route between VGS and Agincourt GO would put 1000s more people within around 1km of Agincourt GO

More REM's and less LRTs would be a BIG win

    Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

All the wasted space makes me regret we didn't go with 7 segment trains . . . or just fully grade separate it and do a metro
