    Toronto Pearson International Airport

And here's the new master plan: https://torontopearson.com/masterplan/##

    Leslieville / Studio District

This is so dumb. There was a KFC at Coxwell for years, and now it's gone. So there's a new one opening up a few blocks west, and it represents a corporatization of the neighbourhood.

    Apple Store

The other thing you have to consider is access to offsite storage. Part of the reason Apple took the space at Yorkdale was that storage is now part of the store. The Eaton Centre store has a large stock room right off the store. That plays into the decision making too. No one wants to truck...

    Apple Store

Oh, I know Apple is looking and has been offered larger spaces. But Apple is super picky about its space, in terms of visibility, location, lighting, and all that jazz. So far nothing has worked for them. I also know they are definitely not leaving the mall, as it's in the top 10 revenue...

    Riverdale

Rendez Vous at Linsmore is quite good. There's a bunch of places past Greenwood, and they all seem busy a lot of times.

    Gerrard India Bazaar

There's also Lake Inez now, which is pretty awesome, and expands the hipster places to go in the hood.

    East York-Old East York

My dad told me that back in the day, one of the barriers to the east end was hydro. The east end was on 30hz power vs 60hz in the west end. Not sure how true it is, but it was one of those things said about the east end till the grid was upgraded.

Toronto CN Tower: Entry Pavilion, Plaza, Renos | ?m | ?s | CLC | Arcadis

Wouldn't the red ring be due to CN, since their colours were red, white and black?

    Toronto Origami Lofts Condos | 22.55m | 7s | Symmetry | Teeple Architects

I kinda like this building, pre natural gas line being run up the side secured by cable ties. That just seems stupid.

    Toronto 365 Church Condos | 102.1m | 31s | Menkes | Wallman Architects

I appreciate that they're keeping the rebuilt building at the corner of Granby and Church as shitty as it was in the beginning. Right down to the fine details of the low quality windows.

    East York-Old East York

The Ritz is a filipino restaurant. Family run, and quite good. We go there for longsilog breakfasts. Awesome and cheap.

    St Lawrence Market

Double D's at Gerrard and Marjory just opened, and does Chicago-style deep dish. That combined with Descendant just down the street, and I'm getting ready to have a wardrobe that is entirely sweatpants-based.

    Leslieville / Studio District

I'm curious too, as it was for sale for 2.95mil. The only thing I found online was this planning doc for Oben Flats, which mentions the address and that they're seeking a three story non-residential addition over the garage...

    TTC: New Fare Gate Installation

Greenwood is now turnstile free, awaiting Presto install.

    Toronto Dundas Square Gardens | 156.05m | 50s | Gupta | IBI Group

I found this with the googles. It was hard though. It was always such an ugly building. photo-toronto-dundas-and-mutual-streetcar-going-west-warwick-hotel-belmont-house-b-a-gas-station-right-side-background-edited-from-r-hill-photo-1960s.jpg

    Toronto 65 King Street East | 82.9m | 18s | Carttera | WZMH

Apparently the Tom Jones was the original Grand and Toy, back in the day.

    Toronto Yonge & Rich Condominiums | 156.35m | 46s | Great Gulf | a—A

Oh yea! Flagship store underground with a stainless steel ladder as the entrance. Can't wait.

Waterloo Region Transit Developments (ION LRT, new terminal, GRT buses)

I thought that another difference between streetcars and LRTs was LRTs have doors on both sides.

East Village Leslieville (1321 Gerrard, Aykler/Urban Fabric, 3s TH)

I live around the corner from it, and it's suddenly come to life. The foundation has been poured now, and there's an active crew on site. I thought it was abandoned, since it sat for so long with nothing happening.

    Toronto Bridgepoint Hospital | 61.87m | 10s | Bridgepoint Health | Diamond Schmitt

The mushrooms are there, at the back of the hospital reading down to Riverdale park. Quite accessible, and look kinda cool.
