    Toronto Cube Lofts | ?m | 6s | Neilas | RAW Design

It was a perfect day for working outside... but not a worker was to be seen.

    Toronto CrystalBlu Condos | ?m | 36s | Bazis | Burka

Not sure why exactly, but Crystal Blu seems to be the project I'm most curious about now. I suppose it could be because I'm anxious about how the podium will be changed from the renders. (And unless they change the hoarding, passersby on Balmuto St. will be able to see the old rendering right up...

RBC Centre (LEED Gold, CadFair, 41s, KPF/B+H/&Co.) COMPLETE

Couldn't help but notice last night how much brighter this building is compared to the rest of downtown.

    Unique Houses in Toronto

On Old Mill Drive, next to the Humber River. I've always admired these two homes that appear to be built into the side of a hill.

    The Toronto Teaser!

Yes. I've always thought this house was so awesome built into the side of a hill. And it's right next door to this house: I'll post these in the unique houses thread as well.

    Toronto L-Tower | 204.82m | 58s | Cityzen | Daniel Libeskind

Despite that hearty laugh, this thread has turned offensive and tragic with the bloody butchering of this once fantastic proposal. I'd prefer never to be reminded of this project again. Is there any way we can choose to "ignore" a thread much like we can with certain members?

    The Toronto Teaser!

    How about this:

    Toronto Bloor Street Neighbourhood Condos | ?m | 32s | Cresford | Northgrave

I wonder though if that's just your impression because of the questionable taste of the people living on the first couple of floors on the south side (which are only about 10 feet away from those walking by). I've never really noticed it with the rest of the building. Anyways, that said, as...

Actually, that hole in the hat is probably just temporary while they fill the hat up with mechanical stuff... And Solaris I think your mock-up makes total sense... but take a closer look at my first picture below... will that work with the three walls/supports that are there towards the south edge?

    Toronto Bloor Street Neighbourhood Condos | ?m | 32s | Cresford | Northgrave

I suppose there is a risk, but if you take a look at Spire today I don't think you'll find balcony furniture, plants, pots, etc. ruining the beauty of the building.

    Toronto Casa | 147.52m | 46s | Cresford | a—A

Yes, but I think the terraces are under the rim of the hat, not on top. Now that I see that opening, I'm hoping I'm wrong. EDIT: But that would also mean that the rich folk on the 46th floor would have to walk up about 4 flights of stairs to get to their rooftop terrace. Not unheard of, I...

    Toronto Casa | 147.52m | 46s | Cresford | a—A

^Hmm. Very interesting. I'm just saying the ultimate roof top terrace would be open to the sun and stars.

    Toronto Casa | 147.52m | 46s | Cresford | a—A

I'm curious how the 47th level will be laid out. How will the base of the hat and the massive terraces co-exist? Also, I'm thinking those massive terraces for the penthouses won't be so awesome after all since they won't be "open to the sky" thanks to the hat. They'll be great, just not...

Toronto Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport | ?m | ?s | Ports Toronto | Arup

I've no doubt the pilot knew what he was doing. I wonder if pre-warning the passengers in a don't-worry-about-it sort of way would be a good idea here. I don't think it could hurt to say that, by the way, we might hit hard but don't worry, that's normal. Another good example is warning the...

Toronto Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport | ?m | ?s | Ports Toronto | Arup

I enjoyed a flawless return trip to Thunder Bay this weekend. The Porter experience as always was perfect (except for that silly ferry and except for the landings... see below). I was thrilled when this route was added and was very happy to see the flight to YQT about 95% full and the return...

    Toronto Casa | 147.52m | 46s | Cresford | a—A

I was worried the hat was a little too low... but now looking at these pics I think this tower is turning out as close to perfect as you can get.

Indigo Condos - Real Estate -

A friend who has been living here for many years has asked me to respond with this: -------------------- The Indigo is brilliant simply because it's small - only 27 floors with 5 units per floor. It has an active community of long-term owners that are very attentive to the building and...

    Toronto St. Clair West Transit Improvements | ?m | ?s | TTC

The unbearably long construction time is ridiculous... but to sprinkle a bit of positivitiy here, the sections of St. Clair that I've seen do look great without all those overhead wires.

1 Bloor East, DEAD AND BURIED (Bazis, -2s, Varacalli)

Could the city do this? Not would but could.
