Without knowing the details, points 1 - 4 might not have prevented this regardless. How was driver impaired? If it's alcohol, what was the reading?

There should be less need for 504 to end at Broadview once the new route and OL is up. It should instead terminate at the Port Lands.

Would this drive up the toll even more in the process? Province paying the tolls = more trucks using the route = more traffic = consortium raises toll (even faster) Not sure how much the toll will increase over 20 years if that plays out. That's probably the big variable.

Sheppard West has the Don River crossing obstacle. The feeder opportunities are also kind of limited, when compared to Sheppard East. It will only be built for network connectivity and redundancy.

South of the airport, ETA to 400 20+min, use 427 and 409. If it's less than 20min., just stick with 401. Under most circumstances during rush hours, do NOT exit onto Eglinton. No matter how tempting the exit from the 401 looks.
