Not trying to convince you (or others). Just offering another point of view.

You've gotta turn that frown, upside down. Sure there are more more interesting things under development, but this one is above the median compared to the whole. I would rather look at this one than a majority of the other green/blue glass rectangles.

I know this runs against the prevailing sentiment in these pages, but I like it!

I was going to say, wow is this thing moving along now, and then I read this stuff from some newby

It would be nice to start a separate conspiracy theory thread, perhaps on a different website, so the concerned may have free reign to blather away, so this one stays focused on building the building.

Will greatly miss the photos of the next big pour ( that is, if this actually happens before your return!)

Looks like the next big pour may only be a few days away?

Wow there is a lot of concrete in this monster: walls three to four feet thick and look at the depth of the floor they are framing on the west side which seems like it is three feet deep!

It is not exactly like a deck of cards, where each card is the same shape, but where each card is a different shaped parallelogram: where two of the opposite sides remain parallel with the floors above and below, and the two other sides angles are slightly adjusted from floor to floor.

I find this massing and cladding composition a lot more interesting than the copious green glass towers that dominate the skyline. Not a one-liner like most. Love it!

What are the chances of the big pour happening prior to end of week?

From the pics, form-work is proceeding on the columns las a lead-up to the next floor pour!

I know this is a bit off topic, but if we are talking about cranes and diapers, this one is for you!

Translucency is measured from 10 (transparent) to 0 (opaque). Time to move on....

For interst sake, here is a comparative project in NYC, 270 Park Ave at about the same stage of construction . Ultimate height 423 metres

Small point, but could we stop calling the possible intermediate space, a platform. How about using a time-honoured term like 'mezzanine' (A mezzanine floor is an intermediate floor which is built between two main floors or the floor and ceiling of a building. ...)

I think this was already noted a few pages back. For structural reasons, the next two floors will need to be poured first.

It may be an optical illusion, but it seems the floor to ceiling heights increase slightly, six floors above the top of the cladding line? And it seems that the increase is only for three floors. Strange?!

Could be The One in an alternate universe!
