    Toronto 8 Elm | 218.2m | 69s | Reserve Properties | Arcadis

Loosing a McDonald's is not a bad thing. They are like Tim Hortons, just walk around the corner you'll find another one. A blight on the landscape.

    Toronto The HUB | 258.46m | 59s | Oxford Properties | Rogers Stirk Harbour

The diamond pattern exudes various shades of blue, grey, silver and light. It changes as the day goes on. Sunlight and cloud produce various patterns also. Without the diamond pattern it would be just another glass box with admittedly nice glass. This shows a small design change can turn a good...

    577 Yonge Street

I believe there are a few places on Yonge that could satisfy your desire for poultice. On a side note, i like this building, and as was noted, a good cleaning and new windows etc. would make this building a gem. I hope it's on the protected list.

Not much different from watching CTVnewsnet all news channel. For years the backdrop photo was so far out of date, it showed Ice under construction, and it had been completed for a couple of years. They updated it months ago. They should be good until 2022. A big corporation, just lazy, and it...

    Toronto 145 Wellington West | 213.05m | 61s | H&R REIT | PARTISANS

As ADRM said, along with the EIU report for 2019 that ranks Toronto as the 6th most livable city in the world, moving up from #7 last year.

    Toronto TeaHouse 501 Yonge Condominiums | 170.98m | 52s | Lanterra | a—A

Come on now kids, no need to be nasty. I know it's hot and people get a little on edge. Have an ice cream, cool down, and everything will be ok.:)

    Toronto TeaHouse 501 Yonge Condominiums | 170.98m | 52s | Lanterra | a—A

I hope they have a plan to disguise it. It's downright ugly, and having that view on Yonge St. is a sin of major proportions. Did they bypass the DRP? I can't see this being left as is. That's almost as bad as the Manulife podium renewal.

    Toronto TeaHouse 501 Yonge Condominiums | 170.98m | 52s | Lanterra | a—A

Are there plans to disguise the ugly parking garage visible along yonge. That makes the project look sterile and oh so 70's + 80's, when parking garages were a thing. Not so much any more. I understand they are necessary, but making them standout along a major thoroughfare like Yonge, looks like...

    Toronto Union Park | 303.26m | 58s | Oxford Properties | Pelli Clarke Pelli

Based on that project link, i love it. Will it ever get approved and constructed as shown? That's a different story, and highly unlikely.

I'm shocked also. I thought it was a mandatory part of the process.

    Toronto Rogers Centre Renovations | ?m | ?s | Toronto Blue Jays | Populous

Costing of potential renovations vs. the actual cost at finish is usually higher. Weighing that against a new building can be a conundrum. Spend $250-$300 mil on an old building, and still have an old park with a new face, or build a new park. Rogers will have to answer to the share holders, and...

    Toronto Rogers Centre Renovations | ?m | ?s | Toronto Blue Jays | Populous

It's 30 years old and now the 6th oldest stadium in baseball. New ballparks have come on line a a quick pace the last 20 years. It doesn't take long to be old and out of date, like myself and yes the dome. It was once a feat of engineering, but is now a tired old cavernous building. I don't...

Looks like things are going to quite interesting very soon.

You can bet your sweet bippy there will be many changes between now and then, and things may look a whole lot different.

    79 Queen St E (assembly for redevelopment, ?, ?s, ?)

Something as simple as round corners add a whole new look. This not a major change, but an effective one. This may only be a place setter, but a nice idea just the same.

    Toronto The One | 328.4m | 91s | Mizrahi Developments | Foster + Partners

It's been a long wait, but we are going to see some actual construction vertically in the near future. Onward and upward.

    Toronto YC Condos -- Yonge at College | 198.42m | 62s | Canderel | Graziani + Corazza

If they were trying to make it blend with the heritage Starbucks on the corner, they missed the mark.

Toronto Manulife Centre Podium and Streetscape Renewal | 9.75m | 2s | Manulife Real Estate | MdeAS Architects

It's a butt ugly reno at one of the city's major intersections.
