    Toronto Parade at Concord CityPlace | 127.4m | 44s | Concord Adex | P + S / IBI

I live in Parade 1 on a floor where the bridge will attach. I asked one of the construction workers involved in the bridge project I saw in the hall the other day and he said June, maybe early July.

    Glass falling from downtown highrises

Balcony Glass Issues Didn't know where to post this since it affects a few buildings. Just got a paper in my door from Concord Adex that says protective balcony mesh is to be installed on Parade I, Discovery I and Discovery II starting April 9. The reason being is that these are buildings...

I was thinking to myself, why didn't they go onto the balcony to film that. But off course that's taken from Murano where the balconies are off limits.

It'll be done on time. With a date certain, fixed price contract, large liquidated damages and a mandated large amount of equity it has to. The consortium I worked with actually was able to finish 2-3 months in advance of the required delivery date. We lost but I imagine the winning team...

Toronto CityPlace Puente de Luz Bridge | ?m | ?s | Concord Adex | Francisco Gazitua

I've always thought those crosswalks were dangerous, light up yellow signs with flashing yellow lights when you press the button. I know as a driver it is often hard to see at a glance when they are on.

Well a Porsche is not a lambo or a hummer, so therefore no. And regarding the above post as to why people who live and work downtown own cars, because we can!

Agreed, never seen anything that looks like sketchiness in Cityplace, and I've lived here for three years. Although I don't see very many really high end cars, the ones that do exist I would guess belong to the kids of offshore money. I know lots of people with high end jobs in the financial...

Toronto CityPlace Puente de Luz Bridge | ?m | ?s | Concord Adex | Francisco Gazitua

I thought the bridge location was so that it was centered down the view corridor between the Parade buildings as would be seen from Canoe Landing park.

I believe that as long as the downtown core remains vibrant Cityplace will never turn into St. James town. If there are always good jobs to be had in the CBD there is no reason why Cityplace won't continue to attract young professionals. The ability to walk to work, plus very good public...

Redpath Co-generation Gas Plant (Queens Quay East)

I don't know what overhead the enwave system has, but connecting East Bay Front to the existing Enwave system would require a pretty long and expensive pipe. In terms of where the heating/cooling plant is going, I've heard of a few different schemes, including Redpath, basement of another...

Redpath Co-generation Gas Plant (Queens Quay East)

I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case. There is currently the ugly temporary plant in front of Corus and I'm not sure it's large enough to support George Brown as well. In addition, I would think a 45mw plant is large enough to provide steam for Redpath as well as the waterfront DE...
