    Toronto YC Condos -- Yonge at College | 198.42m | 62s | Canderel | Graziani + Corazza

Perhaps Yonge Street doesn't, but apparently, the residents of the neighbourhood do, otherwise there would be no demand for these services and they would soon go out of business.

    Toronto YC Condos -- Yonge at College | 198.42m | 62s | Canderel | Graziani + Corazza

In the olde days, there was generally a bank on every block and they certainly attracted crowds as well as the thrill of bank robberies. There used to be at least 6 bank branches on Yonge between College and Wellesley and I don't recall street life being diminished by their presence even if they...

    Toronto Totem Condos | 64m | 18s | Worsley Urban | RAW Design

Although overall, I love this project, I'm saddened that no attempt is being made to save the original canopy over the front entrance.

    Hamilton The Connolly | 106.07m | 30s | Hue Developments | McCallum Sather

Given Hamilton's history, sadly, it's not so unfathomable.

Has anyone else noticed that several segments of the diagonal elements are not lining up as seemlessly as they should? Yesterday I noticed seven problem areas.

    Evocative Images of Lost Toronto

Thanks so much charioteer. You're absolutely amazing! I always admired the proportions and restraint of this building but was never certain how to classify it stylistically. It's not quite Edwardian and has a whiff of Italian Palaccio about it. Any thoughts anyone?

    Evocative Images of Lost Toronto

Help please! Does anyone have a better image of the six storey office building which once stood at the South East corner of Yonge and Queen? I seem to recall that it was shown in an architectural or engineering periodical - the kind that artfully arranged 3 or 4 photos of current projects on a...
