    Sustainability of Condo Living

agree completely. Such a bogus argument, funny to read though. How does leed certification fit into your argument?

Toronto St Regis Toronto Hotel and Residences | 281.93m | 58s | JFC Capital | Zeidler

Is this even true? If I remember this correctly, the lawsuit was for the hotel component that people purchased into for investment and not the actual condo units.

Great finishes. Thanks for sharing Condo George.

Ïce Condos (Lanterra Developments, Cadillac Fairview) - Real Estate -

I think you guys are overreacting...the finishes really aren't all that bad compared to other newish condos. Yes the granite colour is dated but granite backsplashes, wall ovens, panelled dishwashers and panelled fridges are not.

Thanks for sharing. Unit doors and hallways look great.

    Toronto Kingsway Village Square | 31.7m | 8s | Dunpar Homes | Richard Wengle

High end kitchens that weren't anything special and a name that many could't pronounce correctly let alone define. Terrible marketing campaign.

    Toronto Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Toronto | 203.9m | 52s | Lifetime | a—A

I walked by today and thought it looked fantastic. The material on the podium is high quality and the garden is a great touch.

Toronto The Hive: Lofts on The Queensway | 21.03m | 6s | Symmetry | Teeple Architects

I like the shell and design of the building but am not a fan of the cladding. I realize that I am probably in the minority here but in my opinion, the metal (?) cladding has a cheap look to it. Every time I drive by I can’t help but feel somewhat disappointed. Aside from that, this is a...

Toronto Sherbourne Common, Canada's Sugar Beach, and the Water's Edge Promenade | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto | Teeple Architects

Sugar Beach turned out amazing and I'm sure the Bayside expansion will as well. Such a shame that the area feels so isolated. I really wish there was a lakeside path connecting to Pier 27.

    Toronto The Berczy | 41.76m | 13s | Concert | Arcadis

The text is part of the art installation. I personally find it powerful and it's probably more meaningful to the general public that casually walk by this space.

    Toronto The Berczy | 41.76m | 13s | Concert | Arcadis

I'm definitely a fan of the stencilled text. I rather large pronounced text than messages hidden behind a mural. The waves look rather weak.

    Toronto 300 Front Street West | 156.05m | 49s | Tridel | Wallman Architects

Aside from the terrible cladding, the different sized windows really kill this thing for me.

    Toronto NXT & NXT2 Condominiums | ?m | 35s | Cresford | a—A

Convenience store and 501 streetcar outside your doorstep. A closer grocery store would rock....Sobeys up the street on Queensway is the closest.

That word doesn't come to mind at all. How about playful or energetic?

    Toronto Berczy Park Revitalization | ?m | ?s

Some nice new renderings of the Berczy park renovation which is scheduled to be completed by Summer 2015. Part of the renovation is funded by 88 Scott. Really like the fountain additions and the improvements to Scott Street. http://berczy.wordpress.com/2014/03/

    Toronto Aura at College Park | 271.87m | 78s | Canderel | Graziani + Corazza

Saw the lights tonight and thought it was awesome. I'm really looking forward to the final product. In my opinion, Aura is looking better and better each month.

88 Scott St. (Concert Properties) - Real Estate -

This project has/had quite a few reasonably priced larger units. Part of the move would require the realization that you don’t need a four bedroom house for two people.
