It really seems like Remington is taking their time to build up the community. Why wait to put shovels in the ground, when they're selling half a building of units in a day? I just don't see all of Remington's land being developed by around 2030 like they estimated.

Absolutely right in the aspect of close proximity retail and condos go hand in hand. However imo, for this area of Markham, all the development can not just be condos, office towers and retail buildings. It will just be another concrete jungle. I don't think the land is being rented out. Uptown Markham has lots of vacant land to use. I believe it is the swing space for the construction wrapping up at the Signiture and Marriot hotel.

I believe from the looks of it that corner Verdale crossing and birchmount is just a swing space where they are storing construction material and supplies from the other construction site. There has to be advertising and a sales stage before they can proceed to build. How ever in my opinion...

What's happening at the corner of birchmount and verclaire gate south? They've recently started flattening out the land and fenced in the area with trucks and trailers. Is this the next development starting?
